You can remotely access cloud servers in multiple ways.  You can access a cloud server using a virtual console located in the cloud portal website.  The virtual console is like having a keyboard, monitor, and mouse connected to the cloud server.  You can use the virtual console to make configuration changes on the server regardless of the server network settings.  The virtual console is not designed for high performance.  Customers will experience less lag when managing servers via traditional management protocols.

You may access cloud servers via ssh (linux/unix) and remote desktop (windows) protocols.  Of course you have to configure network settings on the servers and cloud network properly before initiating this type of remote access.  Cloud servers are not accessible via the Internet immediately after provisioning because your virtual router and firewall do not have port mapping rules in place to forward Internet traffic to the new cloud server.  SSH and remote desktop protocols offer better performance when managing cloud servers remotely.
